The Gran Hotel Pelayo reopened its doors in April 2005 after undergoing a complete refurbishment and combines the facilities of a 21st Century hotel with the comfort and fine taste of times gone by.

The Gran Hotel Pelayo is located in the Real Sitio de Covadonga, the heart of the the Reconquest, situated between the Basílica and the Santa Cueva.

From the Gran Hotel Pelayo, the incomparable natural landscape that surrounds the National Park of Picos de Europa may be enjoyed. It is just 11km from the Lagos de Enol and the Ercina.
